PFI Snorkeler Course, Trinidad
Discover the Underwater World with the PFI Snorkeler Course! This ½ Day Course allows you to dive into the beauty of the ocean with confidence and skill.
This program is designed to teach you the fundamentals of safe snorkeling, including proper breathing techniques, equipment use, and ocean awareness. Then, we’ll intorduce you to a bit of freediving (diving underwater with one breath of air).
Whether you’re exploring coral reefs or swimming alongside vibrant marine life, this course will enhance your underwater experience and boost your ocean confidence !
Date & Time: Selected Weekends 9am - 12pm
Location: Macqueripe Bay
Gear needed: Mask & Snorkle and fins (provided)
Skill level requirements: Must be able to swim.
Attire : Try to wear thin, non cotton material that will cover arms and legs. Dry fit is best. Nothing loose
AGE Requirement: Snorkeler Level 11+
(Junior Snorkeler Level for Ages 6-10)

GO ON TO GET CERTIFIED to 66ft!
1 day 66ft Ocean Day (for students pre-certified to 33ft)
$1500 TTD / 230 USD
This 1 day program teaches freediving techniques for comfortable enjoyment in the aquatic world to depths of 10m/33ft.
You will also practice Static Apnea to help develop your breath-holding abilities and in-water comfort.
The group meets at Macqueripe Bay to conduct the
course which comprises of 3 major components -
- Theory Via Classroom Session on Benches (2 hours)
- Static Apnea in Water (Shallow Beach)
- Depth Diving in Water (33ft)
Date & Time: Selected Weekends 8am - 2pm
Location: Macqueripe Bay
Gear needed: Mask & Snorkle and fins (provided)
Wetsuit optional.
Skill level requirements: Must be able to swim and be water comfortable in the sea.

The group takes a boat trip to Monos Island (Down D Islands) to conduct the course which comprises of 3 major components -
- Theory Via Classroom Session (in-person or online)
- Static Apnea in Water (Shallow Beach or Pool)
- Depth Diving in Water from Boat (Monos Island, DDI)
Date & Time: Selected Weekends 8am-4pm
Location: Meeting at Island Home Owners Assocition Marina, Boat Trip to Monos Island
Gear needed: Mask & Snorkle and fins (provided)
